Public beta versions of the confoki browser plugin for Firefox and Internet Explorer are now available.
Since the Family Online Safety Institute has stopped the the further development of ICRA tags, the confoki browser extension will no longer be maintained by us. Please understand that we can offer no support for it. The use of this beta version is at your own risk.
Attention! confoki is active immediately after installation. Please open the "confoki"-prferences inside your Firefox browser (Menu: "Tools") in order to define a password, turn confoki on or off and fine tune the filter settings according to your wishes!Whenever confoki is turned on, please use your browser's built-in search field to search for appropriate content. Please refer to the FAQ for more information. The plugin for Internet Explorer has been developed for Internet Explorer 7 under Windows XP. We are thankful for bug reports concerning other combinations of browser and operating system.
The start page of your Internet Explorer will always be displayed, regardless of your confoki settings. Please chose a start page which you don't mind your children to see.
